Hi I’m Omid Daryanian

Since when I was a kid, I have always had this passion of mine for creativity and ingenuity. I used to combine all my toys by pulling them to pieces and dismantling them in order to create something new. Little by little this hobby of mine shifted to drawing. I always drew self-made character concepts. When I got a bit older, at the age of 12, I started taking piano lessons. From where I remember, From the beginning, I all the times wanted to play the songs that I desired and most of all, create a song of my own. At first, I tried to embrace my creativity by combining my loved songs into just one song. Soon after I got to know a few songwriting programs which helped me to write my own songs. In my late teen years, I started realizing how much art is important to me and above that, how much "creating and designing" mean to me. Because of the lack of attention in my country for arts and designs, I found programming a tool of creativity, therefore, I started my bachelor's degree in the field of software engineering. Parallel to my university, I took many programming courses to improve my programming skills. Programming aside, I began to Improve my proficiency in digital designing too at the same year.

When I got a bit more skilled, I commenced working as a freelancer and also I became a lecturer at Tehran Institute of Technology. I used to teach algorithm modeling and programming with C++ and C#. I always loved teaching my knowledge to the others and as far as I know, I was good at it according to my students.

After that, I and some of my fellow programmer friends formed a little group and the main purpose was to innovate and develop new ideas. One of those ideas was a tourist services infrastructure, especially for foreigners who wanted to visit Iran. We provided many features such as obtaining visa, tour planning, business travel planning and a system to find the nearest services online. But unfortunately, after the 58th quadrennial American presidential election in 2016, the Iranian economy was in the worst position ever and literally our project hit rock bottom and got paused.

As for our other projects, we're working on the idea of employment services which we had on the first project but with more details. We have developed a map-based web application service searcher with filtering options for all kinds of job and services; also this project has a map-based mobile application and an admin panel dashboard for managing users and its contents. The other idea that we’re working on is an open-source VPN service for connecting computers with LAN service through the Internet while running them on network layer 3 mostly for gaming purposes.

As for my next step I wish to continue my studying in the field of game designs in which I think I would shine and show my best. With all my experiences and Enthusiasm in video games and above all Imagination and ingenuity, I would definitely be one the bests in this field.
